Greenfield Juneteenth Celebration
The Greenfield Juneteenth Celebration has become one of the most recognized cultural events in Franklin County. What began as a grassroots gathering quickly grew into a vibrant festival with live music, local vendors, spoken word, and community voices coming together to honor freedom and resilience. Families, neighbors, and visitors from across Western Massachusetts joined to celebrate history, culture, and unity.
Organized by Mpress Bennu and Moving Mountains Media, this beloved annual event helped position Greenfield as a hub for cultural celebration. It provided a space for education, joy, and connection, while uplifting local artists and leaders. The Juneteenth Celebration created a tradition that continues to shape community life in Franklin County.

Greenfield Reggae Festival
The Greenfield Reggae Festival brought the rhythms of Jamaica to Western Massachusetts, transforming downtown into a celebration of music and culture. International artists like Michael Palmer shared the stage with regional favorites including The Thunderballs, Abdou Sarr, and DJ Steve Austin. The festival combined world-class performances with the welcoming spirit of Greenfield’s community.
Produced by Moving Mountains Media, the event drew both reggae enthusiasts and curious first-time attendees. It showcased the power of music to bridge cultures and highlighted Greenfield as a destination for dynamic, family-friendly entertainment.
